Stay at our inn, in a renovated former prefectural high school, and experience life in our town

Our guesthouse is in the Murayama Nigiwai Souzou Kasseika facility Link MURAYAMA (former Prefectural Tateoka Senior High School).
Our concept is based on a guesthouse that is convenient, casual to stay at, and has ample shared spaces, similar to those found overseas. The facilities include an office, cafe, and co-working space, which local residents and office workers also use.
At Yamagata Guesthouse, we “share” everything with the townspeople as if we were local residents.

Murayama City in Yamagata Prefecture is a peaceful town with great access to the prefecture’s tourist attractions.
Link MURAYAMA is also used for events such as markets.

Toast your bagel in the shared kitchen, and enjoy the bagel’s crispy outside and chewy inside.

[Lunch and dinner/Separate charge] If reserved in advance, there are some days that the “Shokudo Mochiyakata,” run by the guesthouse, can cater Japanese sticky rice called okowa and kinetsuki mochi rice cakes.
You can also enjoy a genuine pizza and meal at “Pizza nu-ma,” located in the facility.

Our guesthouse is located on the 3rd floor of the facilities, so the views are wonderful. You can see Zao to the south and the Asahi Mountain Range to the west. Come to experience nature and refresh your body and mind!
