"Gallery Yukiyuki Yamayama" – An inn with one guestroom
We started accepting reservations in November 2024.
Enjoy seasonal experiences such as safflower picking, indigo dyeing, farm work, and making snow warehouses called yukigura.
Imoni-kai taro potato stew parties and BBQ are available on the inn's premises for dinner.
Ginzan Onsen, Tokurako Onsen, and Akakura Onsen are about 15 minutes away by car.
Our inn is an ideal spot to set aside your smartphone and unwind with family or hold small group study sessions. (Day visits available)

Ginzan Onsen and Lake Tokura are easy to access from our inn.
Stroll along the historical route where Basho and Sora crossed the Natagiritoge Pass.

You might find large Tambaguri chestnuts that are 3cm big!
Wild plant picking experience
From September to mid-October, the soba buckwheat fields are filled with white flowers, which butterflies visit.
"Yukiyuki Yamayama" has special events such as making yukigura in March and opening them in the middle of summer.

For guests preferring to cook and eat at the inn, ingredients can be arranged for a fee. Obento boxed meals can also be arranged.

"Sake Nurturing Classes," organized by the Agricultural Producers' Co-operative Corporation Domaine Rakushu Rakusui, are held occasionally.

* The inn will be closed in January and February 2025 due to concerns about snow.
* The Experience Studio works with local groups and individuals to provide experiences for small groups of 2 to 8 people. For larger groups, please contact us at least 3 months in advance.

Through collaboration with Masters of Art from Obanazawa and local crafts studios, we strive to create a complete satoyama experience for our guests.
We recommend participating in the "yukigura snow warehouse making" and "yukigura snow warehouse opening" experiences offered by the Agricultural Producers' Co-operative Corporation Domaine Rakushu Rakusui.
Guests seeking a relaxing time in the satoyama or a peaceful morning stroll will surely find their time here rewarding.
Our inn is a hub where even locals come to gather. We welcome everyone to drop by.
